Another win for The Battle To Beat Malaria

Congratulations to Oliver Smyth for his RTS Craft and Design Award for Best Design - Programme Content Sequences for his work on 'The Battle To Beat Malaria'.

We also want to recognise the achievement of director Catherine Gale, who was fundamental to the conception of the sequences - her brilliant vision for how to turn science into art paved the way for these wonderful animations to come to life.

On announcing the award, the RTS said "The jury were so impressed with this entry they selected it as an outright winner. There was a softness and humanity to this sequence, lifting it out of the normal genre of 'science graphics', beautifully matched to the warmth and tenderness of the programme narrative."
