October 2021: Two new Wingspan films are set to feature prominently in ITV's Climate Action Week, with tx timed to run alongside the COP26 talks in Glasgow. Both will receive theatrical premieres at 'COPtimism', where Wingspan P/D Kim Lomax will join a panel about the charms and challenges of green film-making.

July 2021: Outstanding Achievement Award for Wingspan’s vaccine film, as it also airs to acclaim in Europe.

January 2021: In this warm celebration of one of Britain's best loved artists, the illustrator and author Sir Quentin Blake tells the story of his 70 year long career: in his own words, and with his own pictures. 

December 2020: Documentary will tell the inside story of the biggest scientific challenge of our age – how a small, international group of vaccine scientists took on COVID-19

November 2020: This unique 1 x 90’ film sees Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean travel to Alaska on an extraordinary quest to fulfil a life-long dream that also provides a first-hand insight into the effects of climate change. 

April 2019: This is the third prize for the 'Joy of...' franchise at AFO: in 2015 'The Joy of Logic' also picked up Best International Film and in 2017 'The Joy of Data' received an honourable mention in the same category.

December 2018:  Jonny Eveson's unforgettable film 'Meteorlight' - part of Wingspan, the BBC and the BFI's Animation 2018 initiative - won two prizes at the London International Short Film Festival.  The epic sci-fi animation triumphed in both the Best UK Animated Short category and the overall prize of Best UK Short.

January 2019:  Wingspan's Creative Director will serve a third term as a director of the UK's trade association for independent content producers in film and TV.
